Spring training is over (thank goodness) and opening day has come and gone. Former Niner hurler Adam Mills will not be a part of the festivities today in Boston with the Red Sox (at least not in 2009), Mills was designated to Double-A Portland Sea Dogs of the Eastern League. He had a brief stint with the dogs last season.
'07 A-10 Pitcher of the Year/1st Team All-American will be the dog's #2 starter behind Junichi Tazawa. Their season starts Thursday April 9 against the Connecticut Defenders.
