A-10 Men's Tennis: First Round

The #5 seed 49ers made short work of their first round match with #12 seed Fordham, winning 4-0. The match lasted less than an hour and half ... important in that the 49ers will play again today at 2:00 p.m. against #4 seed St. Bonaventure. In singles play, Brad Clinard posted a 6-2; 6-2 win at #6, Anthony Davison won 6-2; 6-0 at #3 and Charles Martin-LeCamp clinched the match with a 6-3; 6-0 win at #4. The 49ers were leading in each of the other three singles matches as well, with wins in the first set of each. Charlotte won the doubles point with wins at #2 and #3 doubles.
