Former 49er and CUSA Pitcher of the Year John Maine will throw tonight vs. St. Louis on ESPN!
Maine is currently (0-1) on the year with a 7.20 ERA. He looks to lower that tonight, his counterpart Joel Pineiro (2-0, 5.40 ERA).

Maine, who failed to get a decision in his season debut against Florida on April 10, has received just four runs of support so far. That's not been the case when he faces St. Louis -- in three career starts, Maine is 2-1 with a 5.63 ERA and 16 runs of support.
John has plenty of history vs. the Cards. What Niner fan can forget watching him take the hill in the 2006 NLCS as a rookie and picking up the win in a 'must win' game 6 for the Metropolitans.
